Noches de Salvacion, Luz y Esperanza

OK as requested here is info on the upcoming crusade with Steve Hill.

Dates - July 30 & 31

Where - Palmira Colombia
Last night we had our prayer meeting and gave out all the info to our leaders and let them see a promo video and hear the promo for the radio.
We also passed out flyers and bookmarks that look similar to the picture above.
Everyone was so pumped when Milton was telling them everything that God has done. People are calling from all over the country and want to be a part of the meetings. Groups from Cali want to come and help us evangelize before the crusade. Churches here in the city our getting on board. Not to mention we will have about 45 Americans with us from Pastor Steve's church in Dallas and from Church Alive in Magee MS. The teams will be here for a week helping us build our building in Coronado and evangelize for the crusade.
We have a lot of work ahead of us and we need your prayers!
I have a lot in my heart and I do not know if I was able to articulate is well. But you get the idea.
If you would like to be a part in supporting this financially please visit our website to get more info on how and where to send your donation.

I'm just sayin!

OK this is not a deep blog nor at times is it an informative blog its just a glance into my life.

OK, enough with the ants already! I really do not know why it bothers me so bad because everybody here seems not to mind ants. Ants in there kitchen, ants in there bathroom, ants in there closet. ants, ants, ants. But I mind! And I really don't like it when I find them marching into my kitchen or across my living room wall. Today I left my kitchen nice and clean after lunch (which here is a the largest meal of the day so it was alot of cleaning up) Only to come back and find lots of ants parading around the kitchen. March, march , march from the hallway, behind the stove, and over behind the sink - a long way to travel for one tiny tiny spot on the wall I did not seem to see when I was cleaning up. Uggg!
And while I'm at it enough with the mosquitoes already!!!!! I alot to say about that but the only thing I will say is that I just counted 12 bites on Victoria and shes asking me to scratch "right here mom" and that is with using repellent about 90% of our waking hours.

But in all this I MUST say that I am thankful that its only ants and skeeters were dealing with not much larger, much scarier bugs (at least not all the time).

Just for a smile

This is just for a smile :) This is what Bella drew after playing with her friends next door. It is her and her friends playing. Notice the girl in the middle she made her pigs tails just like the little girl had. So sweet!

Hi All! How are you? I hope you are doing well! It has been really neat to read some of the feed back from my first post and glad to have you all on board. We now have internet in the house so it should make it a lot easier to do :)

Well today was a regular day ... me working in the house cooking lunch, taking care of the girls, cleaning a little and Milton very busy with meetings for the building project, meetings with members of the church, taking 16 (yes 16) mattress in the blue bird (our car for those of you who don't know) to the children's foundation, then going to church in Coronado and preaching in the service tonight. Coming home and wanting to crash!!! but we made it by the grace of God and will be up again tomorrow to do it all over again :)

I just thought I would put a picture on here of me ... its not my fave but I am usually the picture taker not the subject of so I thought I would put it on for my fam :)

Also for those of you who are praying for us thank you so much. I thought I would include a schedule of our weekly events and events for the summer so you guys can be praying with us.

Wednesday service - Worship and Prayer

Thursday - Service in La Bolsa (church #3)

Friday - Service in Coronado (church #2) & Youth service in the main church

Saturday Morning - prayer and fasting service

Sunday morning - Main church service where we all gather together

Please be in prayer for several teams that will be traveling here this summer from TX and MS. We will be building a building in Coronado and also hosting a crusade with Steve Hill at the end of July. Both of which are huge events happening at the same time.

Also we are praying for a bus. We have been looking and looking at lots of buses and we really need Gods guidance on which one is for us.

One more thing you can just pray for us in general our kids mainly Victoria has had a lot of little sickness nothing major just back to back colds and such also please pray for us as a family for wisdom and strength

Thank you thank you --- Everyday most definitely is a journey!

June 6, 2009

First I want to say that this is all new to me so I really do not know what I am doing but I think I'll get the hang of it. I want to say thanks to Wendi Wood - for kinda getting me interested in starting a blog.

We have had a wonderful time this week with the Wood Family from Pascagoula, MS. We are so thankful for there family and also so thankful that they decided to come here to Palmira to spend time with us and see first hand what God is doing!

I can say this that God is on the move and as usuall the devil is not happy. We have been feeding the children of Coronado this week and having services all week with our special guest speaker Pastor Ben Wood from the Worship Center. But the last few days have been interesting. A young man who plays the drums was in a motorcycle accident and hit another person. Bother are ok but a little shaken up. Then the very next day our worship leader from Coronado was ran over by a bus while riding his bike (only form of transportaion for him). The bus driver ran a red light and is at falt. The parametics who responded said that they do not know how he is alive. And even he said that when he was under the bus he thought to himself, "Im dying" but somehow he made it out from under the bus onto the curb with no broken bones but some pretty bad scrapes and a very sore body.

Then.... yes theres more we were going to start a new bus route because we had a lot of new people who want to be a part of the church in Coronado - so we hired a bus to go get them and on the way that bus hit someone.

We have not had anything like this happen before... its crazy.... so wait theres more...

our worhsip leader (at the main church and leader of all the worship team) his grandmother died last night.

So please pray for us, God is good and His Kingdom is advancing and like Pastor Ben spoke to our leadership last night - with everything we are doing we are pushing back the kingdom of darkeness - and we are so thankful and so excited to know that our God is on the throne and He is faithful, and powerful to complete the work He has started here in Colombia!
